Satnam Kaur Khalsa will fight Feltham & Heston for the Lib Dems

Satnam Kaur Khalsa has been selected as the Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Feltham & Heston.

Satnam Kaur has lived in Hounslow since 1968 and studied at Cranford Comprehensive and later she graduated with a BSc. (Hons) in Biological Sciences. Later she qualified as an accountant. After a job with the Department of Social Security and the Department of Trade and Industry, Satnam Kaur worked as an auditor with the London Borough of Hounslow, and stayed in auditing, both in the public and private sector, ever since.

She campaigned for a safe pedestrian crossing over the A4, against the bridge over the houseboat moorings in the Grand Union Canal, and on issues like potholes, uneven pavements, street rubbish, recycling. She is a co-opted member of the Cranford & Heston Area Committee.

She will petition to axe the Council Tax for Local Income Tax. She will work hard for the students to abolish tuition fees, no top-up fees. She believes that we should not have gone to war in Iraq and we should help to restore order in Iraq with UN backing.
